As a Sequencing Specialist, you will own the end-to-end sequencing plans, acting as the central pivot between the supply chain, warehouse, and production lines. You will leverage data, technology, and cross-functional collaboration to orchestrate the precise flow of materials, directly impacting our ability to deliver premium Continental tyres to the world.

What You Will Own:

• Develop and maintain robust daily sequencing plans for the M&P department to align with production targets.
• Act as the primary interface between Production Planning, Logistics, and the Manufacturing shop floor to ensure seamless material availability.
• Analyse Bill of Materials (BOM) and production data to forecast material requirements and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Implement and optimize Just-in-Sequence (JIS) delivery models for key components, reducing warehouse footprint and handling costs.
• Monitor real-time production output and adjust sequencing plans dynamically to respond to line stoppages or priority changes.
• Drive continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen) focused on reducing changeover times and optimizing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Generate and present key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sequence adherence, material availability, and production efficiency.

Requirements to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning, material sequencing, or supply chain execution within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the automotive or tyre industry is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modelling) and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4 Hana preferred).
• Deep understanding of Just-in-Time (JIT), Just-in-Sequence (JIS), and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functional teams.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
