- Warmly greet and welcome all customers, providing a positive first impression of Tiong Bahru Bakery.
- Accurately take customer orders for food and beverages, ensuring special requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen/barista team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to customers, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Process cash and card payments efficiently and accurately, handling transactions with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, counters, and service stations throughout operating hours.
- Assist in the setup and replenishment of display counters, ensuring products are well-stocked and attractively presented.
- Respond to customer inquiries and feedback professionally, aiming to resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both customers and colleagues.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or customer service role is a plus, but not essential – we welcome enthusiastic beginners!
- A positive, friendly, and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for serving people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and efficient during peak hours.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability, especially for scheduled shifts.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by business needs.
- Must be able to adhere to our professional dress code: black t-shirt, long dark pants/jeans, and covered non-slip shoes.
- Legally eligible to work part-time in Singapore.
