Service Engineer - AOI Machine

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-tier technical support, installation, commissioning, and maintenance services for advanced AOI systems. You will work closely with clients in the electronics and semiconductor industry, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal machine performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of AOI inspection systems at customer facilities.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues related to AOI systems promptly.
• Provide comprehensive technical training and support to end-users to enhance their operational capabilities.
• Document service activities, generate detailed technical reports, and track machine performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
• Manage and maintain service inventory, including spare parts and tools, ensuring readiness for field service calls.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in servicing AOI, SMT, or semiconductor equipment.
• Strong knowledge of AOI machine principles, vision systems, and associated software.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Penang and other states in Malaysia for on-site assignments.
• Possession of a valid driving license and own transport is required.
