About the Role
The Supreme HR Advisory is excited to announce an opening for a Service Engineer to join our client's team in Singapore. This role is perfect for a technically minded individual who enjoys working in the field and ensuring the highest standards of instrumentation accuracy on construction projects.
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of monitoring instruments, from installation and commissioning to ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and success of major building and infrastructure developments. You will be based in the Kampong Ubi area but will travel to various sites as needed, so a valid Class 3 driving license is essential.
We are looking for a motivated engineer who can work independently and as part of a team. You should have a solid understanding of electronic systems and be comfortable working in a construction environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Install, configure, and commission monitoring instruments at construction sites, including sensors, data loggers, and telemetry systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability.
- Diagnose and repair faults on site, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to ensure instrumentation meets project specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ordering replacements as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to site staff on instrument operation.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Valid Class 3 driving license (mandatory).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction or instrumentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring instruments such as tilt meters, strain gauges, piezometers, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work outdoors and at heights.
