Join our dynamic team as a Service Engineer specializing in marine communications and navigation systems. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of critical maritime technology, ensuring vessels operate at peak efficiency through expert installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address complex issues in challenging maritime environments. You'll collaborate closely with vessel crews, vendors, and internal teams to deliver reliable solutions while maintaining compliance with international maritime standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Install, commission, and calibrate marine navigation and communication systems including radar, GPS, VHF, and satellite communications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults on board vessels using diagnostic tools and schematics
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades to ensure operational reliability
- Provide technical training and documentation to vessel crews for system operation
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts procurement and system enhancements
- Maintain detailed service records and compliance documentation for regulatory audits
- Respond to emergency call-outs and provide remote/on-site technical support during critical operations
Kualifikasi
- Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience with marine navigation/communication systems (e.g., Furuno, Raymarine, Garmin)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GMDSS, Radio Operator, or vendor-specific training)
- Strong diagnostic skills with ability to read technical schematics and manuals
- Valid seafarer medical certification and willingness for offshore travel
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with SOLAS, IMO, and flag state regulations
