PERSOL is partnering with a leading telecommunications infrastructure provider to recruit an experienced, driven Service Engineer (Network Fiber) to join their high-performing team in Bugis, Singapore. In this critical role, you will be responsible for end-to-end optical fiber network deployment, high-level provisioning, and hands-on physical and logical installation. As a key technical contributor, you will execute Bit Error Rate (BERT) testing, conduct precise optical performance analysis, and provide round-the-clock (24/7) support to resolve critical network incidents. You will act as the frontline expert handling optical distribution frame management, fiber troubleshooting, and quality assurance metrics to maintain ultra-low latency and maximum uptime for enterprise and carrier clients alike.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform end-to-end fiber optic network provisioning, activation, and configurations.
- Handle hands-on installation and commissioning of optical transmission systems and distribution frames.
- Conduct Bit Error Rate Testing (BERT), OTDR testing, and optical power level measurements to ensure circuit quality and specification alignment.
- Deliver highly responsive 24/7 technical support and incident management for network outages and service degradation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional network planning teams and third-party contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and site access.
- Maintain precise technical documentation, including network topology diagrams, patching records, and fiber splicing details.
- Proactively monitor network performance to identify potential bottlenecks and implement optimization measures.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic network engineering or telecom service delivery.
- Proven expertise in BERT testing, OTDR analysis, and light source/power meter operations.
- Strong understanding of GPON, DWDM, SDH, and basic IP routing/switching protocols.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call standby rotation for emergency network troubleshooting and support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interface with corporate clients.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, fiber splicing certifications) are highly advantageous.
