People Profilers is delighted to partner with a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced scientific and analytical instruments. We are seeking a dedicated Service Engineer / Senior Engineer to service a prestigious client base within Singapore's thriving Central Region.
In this critical role, you will ensure the peak performance of complex analytical systems used in research institutes, pharmaceutical labs, and high-tech manufacturing environments. From mass spectrometers and chromatography systems to advanced optical and surface analysis tools, you will be the trusted expert our clients rely on.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the complete service lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of precision instruments.
- Executing flawless on-site installations, upgrades, and performance qualifications.
- Designing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules to maximize instrument uptime.
- Delivering advanced diagnostic troubleshooting and component-level repairs.
- Providing technical training and support to empower end-users.
- Maintaining detailed service logs and communicating effectively with internal teams.
- Managing field service inventory and logistics.
What We Are Looking For:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or Physics.
- Min 2-5 years of hands-on experience servicing scientific, analytical, or medical devices.
- Strong diagnostic skills, capable of systematic problem-solving.
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Experience with vacuum systems, optics, or spectroscopy is a strong advantage.
- Class 3 driving license is preferred.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning of scientific and analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometers, Microscopes).
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex hardware, software, and system integration issues.
- Document all service activities thoroughly, including service reports, timesheets, and expense reports.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components for timely repairs.
- Provide on-site training and technical support to end-users, enhancing their operational self-sufficiency.
- Collaborate with global technical support teams to resolve escalated issues and contribute to product improvements.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional conduct and effective communication.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in servicing scientific, analytical, or laboratory equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanics, vacuum systems, and optics is highly preferred.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and software-based troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage a dynamic workload effectively.
- Valid Class 3 driving license is a strong advantage.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies.
