Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and process all import-related documentation, including customs declarations, permits, and shipping manifests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and efficient customs clearance and delivery of goods.
- Track and monitor the status of incoming shipments, providing regular updates to relevant internal departments and resolving any potential delays or issues proactively.
- Arrange and oversee local transportation and delivery schedules from port/airport to warehouse or designated locations.
- Verify and reconcile shipping invoices, freight charges, and customs duties, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all import and logistics activities for auditing purposes and operational analysis.
- Assist in inventory control and warehouse coordination, ensuring smooth receipt and storage of imported goods.
- Stay updated with the latest customs regulations, trade policies, and logistics trends to ensure continuous compliance and efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a shipping, import, or logistics coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian customs procedures, import regulations, and international shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
