Join the leading global provider of assembly equipment and precision components as a Shipping Coordinator IV. Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor of Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations. This position requires a dedicated professional to manage complex shipping documentation, coordinate the timely dispatch of goods, and ensure seamless logistics flow across international borders.
In this dynamic manufacturing environment, you will act as the primary point of contact for shipping activities, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal production teams and external freight forwarders to resolve logistical challenges and optimize delivery schedules. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and review all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to schedule shipments and track cargo status in real-time.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and local Singaporean customs requirements.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damages promptly to minimize operational downtime and financial impact.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping activities and update the logistics database with current tracking information.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to align shipping schedules with inventory availability and production milestones.
- Identify opportunities to optimize shipping processes and reduce logistics costs while maintaining service levels.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or transportation management.
- Strong working knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance processes, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems; experience with SAP is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and data entry.
