Polyplas, a premier manufacturer in the plastic industry, is seeking a highly capable Shipping Executive / Senior Executive to join our team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the complete logistics cycle for all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise effectively with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Negotiate and evaluate freight contracts and rates to optimize shipping costs and service levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock accuracy and replenishment.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs laws, and safety standards.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Prepare detailed reports on logistics activities, KPIs, and shipping performance for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, customs regulations, and INCOTERMS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Possess own transport and willing to work in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
