Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage daily shipping operations and logistics workflows efficiently.
- Coordinate with liner agents and freight forwarders to arrange cargo bookings and shipments.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and favorable terms with shipping lines and carriers.
- Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor shipment schedules and track cargo status to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve shipping delays and logistical issues proactively to minimize disruptions.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of goods movement.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of international shipping terms, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and logistics management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driving license is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the logistics landscape in Sarawak is preferred.
