GS Engineering & Construction is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in the vibrant Central Region. We are looking for a professional who is committed to excellence in construction management and site supervision. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical and administrative oversight of construction projects, ensuring that all works are executed efficiently, safely, and in strict accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to significant infrastructure developments in Bugis.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between the design team and the on-site workforce. You will oversee daily operations, resolve technical challenges, and ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders to drive project success.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and inspect construction activities daily to ensure compliance with engineering standards, blueprints, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and site diaries.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to work schedules.
- Conduct site measurements and verify workmanship quality against approved specifications.
- Manage on-site documentation, including handling drawings, permits, variations, and site instructions.
- Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Liaise with architects and consultants to resolve technical queries and provide engineering solutions on-site.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in site supervision and construction management.
- Strong knowledge of local construction materials, methods, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
- Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MS Project.
- Certification in site safety or construction management is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
