You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative solutions to our global clients. As an SL3 Support Engineer specializing in AS400, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of our core enterprise systems. You will act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability for our business-critical applications. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide advanced technical support (Tier 3) for AS400 applications and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system errors, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents.
- Monitor system health and execute routine maintenance tasks, including backups and patching.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and DBAs, to implement system enhancements.
- Manage incident tickets and ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence of critical issues.
- Document technical procedures and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in AS400/iSeries technical support or administration.
- Strong working knowledge of CL (Command Language), SQL, and basic RPG.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances if required.
