Alodea Plant Centre Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of high-quality plants and landscaping materials in Johor, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Small Lorry Driver to join our dynamic team based in Kota Tinggi, Johor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver to contribute to a thriving business within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector.

As a Small Lorry Driver, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of a wide range of products, including ornamental plants, trees, soil, fertilizer, pots, and other landscaping supplies to our diverse customer base across Johor and surrounding areas. You will be the face of our company on the road, providing excellent service and representing our brand with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a small lorry for the transportation of plants, landscaping materials, and goods to customer locations.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring items are securely fastened and handled with care to prevent damage.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and minimize transportation costs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues or accidents promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and a positive brand experience.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage records, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess a valid and clean Malaysian Driving License (Class E).
• Must have a currently valid Goods Driving License (GDL).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience driving a lorry or similar heavy vehicle.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy bags of soil/fertilizer.
• Strong knowledge of roads, routes, and traffic conditions in Johor, especially the Kota Tinggi area.
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong sense of work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
