Inventec Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled SMT Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production lines. As an SMT Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing process parameters, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and implementing continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to boost production yield. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and optimize SMT line performance, including reflow soldering and pick-and-place processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process deviations and quality defects to ensure high First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and integrate new technologies.
- Maintain and calibrate SMT equipment, including stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
- Prepare detailed process documentation, SOPs, and monthly performance reports.
- Train production operators on new processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Monitor environmental conditions and material handling to minimize waste and downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SMT process engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in using AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), X-Ray, and solder paste inspection tools.
- Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and assembly process flow.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Fluency in English and Malay is an added advantage.
