Our client, a leader in the electronics industry, is currently seeking a strategic and hands-on SMT Test Engineering Manager to oversee testing operations in their state-of-the-art facility in Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of test engineers, optimizing SMT testing processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards for our complex electronic assemblies.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, implementing cutting-edge test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maximize production yield. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers and technicians to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
- Define and implement robust SMT test strategies, including ICT (In-Circuit Test), FCT (Functional Test), and AOI optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to increase test coverage, reduce false call rates, and enhance overall production throughput.
- Manage test equipment lifecycle, including procurement, commissioning, calibration, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Analyze manufacturing data and test yields to identify root causes of defects and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with NPI (New Product Introduction) teams to ensure test readiness and seamless transitions for new product launches.
- Ensure all test processes adhere strictly to international safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in SMT testing within the electronics manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
- In-depth technical proficiency with test platforms such as Teradyne, Keysight, or similar industry-standard equipment.
- Strong understanding of SMT process flow, PCB design principles, and failure analysis methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and utilize statistical process control (SPC) to optimize performance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage projects under tight deadlines and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.
