We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SOC Analyst to join our client, a leading Multinational Corporation (MNC), based in Singapore. This is an Agency Contract to Hire opportunity, offering a pathway to a permanent position within a dynamic and innovative IT environment. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization's digital infrastructure against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect, analyze, and respond to potential security incidents in real-time. You will collaborate closely with the broader IT security team to implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced MNC setting.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents to determine the scope and root cause of breaches.
- Execute incident response plans to contain and mitigate security threats effectively.
- Perform regular vulnerability scanning and risk assessments to strengthen security posture.
- Generate comprehensive reports on security activities, incidents, and trends for management review.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security best practices to recommend proactive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and patches.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working as a SOC Analyst or in a similar security operations role.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM platforms and log analysis tools.
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and malware analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly desirable.
