Join our dynamic team at the Active Ageing Centre in Bukit Batok, West Region, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors in our community. As a Social Service Intern, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering programmes that promote active ageing and social inclusion.
You will support community outreach initiatives, engage with seniors through befriending activities, and build strong partnerships with local organisations and volunteers. By assisting in the day‑to‑day operations of the centre, you will gain hands‑on experience in event management, participant coordination, and programme evaluation.
Responsibilities include designing activity schedules, preparing educational materials, facilitating group sessions, and documenting participant feedback. You will also assist in organising health‑screening events, coordinating transport for seniors, and maintaining centre records. By collaborating with volunteers and external partners, you will help create a welcoming environment that empowers older adults to stay active, connected, and independent.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your communication, interpersonal, and project‑management skills in a supportive environment. Kualifikasi

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with seniors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic organisational and time‑management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is advantageous.
- Willingness to undergo relevant background checks as required for working with vulnerable populations.
