Join a vital public service role as a Social Welfare Officer II in the beautiful Ilocos Region. In this position, you will work closely with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to implement social welfare programs and provide essential support to vulnerable populations. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the direct delivery of social services, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most. Your work will involve direct interaction with clients, program management, and strategic planning to foster a healthier, more resilient community.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct home visits and field assessments to identify the needs of beneficiaries and ensure proper allocation of social welfare assistance.
- Manage caseloads effectively by providing counseling, guidance, and referrals to appropriate social services or legal aid.
- Develop and implement community-based programs that address local issues such as poverty alleviation, family welfare, and youth development.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports, case studies, and statistical data to the Civil Service Commission and higher authorities.
- Coordinate with local government units, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to foster collaborative community development initiatives.
- Advocate for the rights of marginalized groups and ensure their voices are heard in policy-making discussions.
- Monitor the progress of beneficiaries and evaluate the effectiveness of social intervention programs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or any related field from a reputable institution.
- Must possess a valid Professional or Temporary License as a Social Worker (RSW) or be eligible to take the licensure examination.
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in social welfare, community development, or public service (based on the "II" level).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups.
- Deep understanding of local social policies, community dynamics, and government regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel to different barangays and remote areas within the Ilocos Region.
