As the Software Application Lead, you will be at the forefront of digital transformation, delivering critical applications that serve the nation.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will take full ownership of our cloud-native platform. You will lead a small, agile, and highly-skilled team to design, develop, and deploy high-assurance applications specifically on the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC 2.0) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your mission is to not only shape the robust technical architecture of the platform but also to cultivate the next generation of engineering talent through active mentorship and coaching. You will champion modern DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, automated CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive monitoring strategies.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Architect, design, and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native services on GCC 2.0 / AWS.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and automated testing strategies.
- Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure best practices in software development and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, security engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, ensuring system performance, uptime, and cost optimization.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, advocating for continuous improvement.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or mentoring role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC) or equivalent on GCC 2.0.
- Proficient in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js with a solid grasp of software design patterns.
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, including DevSecOps, secret management, and secure networking.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration in a production environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with Singapore Government Tech Stack (SGTS) or Singpass / Mutual Authentication integration is a strong advantage.
