We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Lead to join a leading IT solutions client on a direct contract basis in Singapore. This 1-year engagement is a fantastic opportunity to shape asset compliance strategies and optimize software spend for a major organization.
In this role, you will take ownership of the client's SAM framework, ensuring full regulatory compliance and maximizing the value of software investments. You will act as the primary point of contact for vendor negotiations and lead critical audits to mitigate legal risks. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end Software Asset Management strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Conduct comprehensive software inventory audits and analyze license usage to ensure 100% compliance.
- Manage relationships with key software vendors to negotiate favorable terms and optimize licensing agreements.
- Identify and eliminate software over-licensing and redundancy to reduce operational costs.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for executive leadership regarding asset status and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with IT operations and procurement teams to streamline asset procurement and decommissioning processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe, and Oracle licensing models.
- Experience with SAM tools (e.g., Snowflake, Flexera, ServiceNow) is highly desirable.
- Professional SAM certification (e.g., SAMC) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
