Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable distributed storage systems to support massive data throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex bottlenecks in storage performance and reliability.
- Develop robust algorithms for data replication, sharding, and fault tolerance across globally distributed nodes.
- Improve system monitoring, observability, and automated recovery procedures to ensure 99.999% uptime.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from system architecture design to production deployment and maintenance.
- Conduct deep-dive code reviews and mentor junior engineers on distributed systems best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in cloud storage and integrate emerging technologies to maintain ByteDance's competitive edge.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or backend development.
- Deep proficiency in C++, Go, or Java with a focus on performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of distributed storage concepts (e.g., consistency models, consensus protocols, LSM-trees).
- Experience with large-scale data storage technologies (e.g., Ceph, HDFS, RocksDB, or custom storage engines).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex distributed multi-threaded applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global, fast-paced team environment.
