We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join the Google Wallet team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in building the next generation of digital payments infrastructure. You will work closely with UX researchers and designers to create intuitive, secure, and seamless user experiences for millions of users worldwide. Our goal is to make payments effortless, secure, and integrated into the fabric of everyday life.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for the Google Wallet platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UX Designers, and other Engineers to define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Integrate with various payment gateways and banking APIs to ensure robust transaction processing.
- Implement and adhere to rigorous security standards to protect user financial data and privacy.
- Optimize application performance and user engagement through code reviews and comprehensive testing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Go.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile or backend systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
- Strong understanding of Android or iOS development environments and frameworks.
- Experience with secure coding practices, encryption standards, and data protection regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with AI/ML integration in consumer-facing applications is a plus.
