Pilmico Foods Corporation, a proud member of the Aboitiz Group, is a leading integrated agribusiness and food company in the Philippines. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer Intern to join our innovative BITS-Digi Solns Robot & AI team at our Makati City office.
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving fields of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and data scientists to develop practical technology solutions that enhance business processes across our operations. You will be exposed to the full software development lifecycle and contribute to real-world projects from day one.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of small to medium-sized software applications and automation scripts.
- Collaborate with the Robot & AI team to identify and document automation opportunities within the business.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots using industry-standard tools.
- Contribute to AI and Machine Learning projects, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following coding best practices and standards.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development team.
- Conduct software testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure application reliability.
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation, user guides, and presentation materials for developed solutions.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
- Exposure to or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies is a strong plus.
