Talent Trader Group is exclusively partnering with a premier industrial automation solutions provider to identify a highly skilled Software Engineer (PLC Programming / Automation) to join their expanding team in the Central Region.
About the Role
This is a hands-on technical ownership role spanning the entire software development lifecycle of industrial control systems. From initial concept and system design to coding, testing, and final commissioning, you will ensure cutting-edge automation solutions are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. Key Technologies
You will work extensively with globally leading brands and platforms. Your daily toolkit will include Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk), and Mitsubishi Electric. You will design intuitive HMI / SCADA interfaces (e.g., WinCC, Wonderware) and configure robust industrial networks using Profinet, Profibus, and EtherNet/IP.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and test PLC programs for industrial automation systems using Siemens S7 (TIA Portal), Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), or Mitsubishi platforms.
- Develop and configure HMI / SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View) to provide intuitive operational interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to define system requirements, create functional design specifications, and estimate effort.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), ensuring systems meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- Commission control systems at client sites, providing training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and hardware issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including code standards, test scripts, and as-built drawings.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience in automation software development with PLCs.
- Proficiency in at least one major PLC platform (Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000, or Mitsubishi GX Works).
- Experience developing SCADA / HMI applications is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of industrial networking and fieldbus protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP).
- Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and P&ID schematics.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for project commissioning and support.
