Are you a seasoned engineer with a passion for building resilient, secure, and scalable financial infrastructure? The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role sits at the critical intersection of Security, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Solution Architecture, specifically focused on our core payments and securities clearing systems.
In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of architecture patterns that prioritize system availability, data integrity, and robust security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy infrastructures, implement automated CI/CD pipelines with integrated security, and ensure our systems meet the stringent demands of Singapore's financial ecosystem. Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions for core financial payment systems.
- Lead SRE initiatives to define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with Security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and threat modeling into the development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices.
- Conduct deep-dive incident post-mortems and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Work on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to automate environment provisioning and security patching.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to internal engineering squads.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on system architecture or SRE.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure coding standards.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, large-scale distributed systems under pressure.
- Familiarity with financial systems, payment gateways, or highly regulated environments is a significant advantage.
