Are you passionate about the future of autonomous mobility? Motional is seeking a high-caliber Software Engineering Intern to join our Behaviors team in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the nuScenes dataset, the industry-standard benchmark for autonomous driving perception and planning.
As an intern, you will work alongside world-class engineers to enhance the quality, usability, and scalability of our open-source tools. You will tackle complex challenges in robotics, machine learning, and software architecture, gaining hands-on experience in a production-grade autonomous vehicle development environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the open-source nuScenes dataset and toolkit.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for autonomous vehicle behavior modeling and prediction.
- Write clean, production-quality code to support research and development workflows.
- Analyze large-scale sensor data to identify edge cases and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Perception, Planning, and Mapping engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to internal and external project documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python or C++ is essential.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and common robotics tools.
- Prior experience working with large datasets or computer vision tasks is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.
