Mindteck is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our team in Woodlands. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of complex system-level software, specifically focusing on desktop applications within an Electrical Engineering (EE) environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, isolate, and document system defects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system architecture and a passion for rigorous testing methodologies. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for system-level and desktop application testing.
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing in an EE-focused environment.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and systems engineers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
- Maintain and update test environments, ensuring hardware and software configurations are optimized.
- Perform compatibility testing across various desktop application versions and system specifications.
- Generate detailed test summary reports to stakeholders highlighting quality metrics and risk areas.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in Software QA, specifically with system-level and desktop application testing.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies in EE or hardware-integrated software environments.
- Proficiency in defect management systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test case management tools.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into actionable test scenarios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
