Are you a passionate engineer looking to drive the transition to sustainable energy? Yongyang is currently seeking a highly skilled Solar Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team in Perai, Penang. In this role, you will play a critical part in the lifecycle of high-efficiency solar power systems, from initial conceptual design to final installation and ongoing maintenance.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate inverters, switchgear, and complex protection devices, ensuring that our energy solutions meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and engineer comprehensive solar PV systems including grid-tied and off-grid configurations.
- Perform detailed electrical load calculations and system sizing to ensure optimal energy yield.
- Oversee the installation process, ensuring compliance with local electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
- Configure and troubleshoot inverters, transformers, and protection relays for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess solar potential and structural requirements.
- Monitor system performance post-installation and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation, including SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and project commissioning reports.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in solar energy, electrical design, or power systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and solar design simulation tools (e.g., PVSyst or Helioscope).
- Strong knowledge of local electrical codes, grid connection standards, and safety requirements.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a Wireman or Chargeman certificate is considered a distinct advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
