Sasonbi Inc. is looking for a dedicated Solar Technician to join our growing team in Mandaue City, Cebu. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our commercial and residential clients.
You will collaborate with engineers and field teams to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and implement upgrades that maximize energy output while adhering to safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform scheduled inspections, testing, and cleaning of solar PV modules and inverters.
- Monitor system performance using monitoring software and respond to alarms or underperformance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and inverter failures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment life and ensure safety compliance.
- Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance metrics in detailed reports.
- Coordinate with project engineers and clients to schedule service visits and explain system operation.
- Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the installation of new solar systems as needed.
Kualifikasi
- At least 2 years of experience in solar PV installation, operation, or maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
- Proficiency with multimeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with solar monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarEdge, SMA).
- High school diploma or technical/vocational certification in electrical or renewable energy.
- Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Philippine driver's license (preferred).
