- Provide expert wine recommendations to guests based on their preferences and food pairings
- Curate and maintain an exceptional wine collection, ensuring optimal storage conditions
- Develop and implement wine lists that showcase diverse regions and styles
- Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for guests and staff
- Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage supplier relationships
- Train junior staff on wine knowledge and service standards
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging wine regions
- Collaborate with culinary team to create wine pairing experiences
Kualifikasi
- Professional sommelier certification (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of wine regions, varieties, and production methods
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
