Are you a detail-oriented procurement professional looking to advance your career with a leading manufacturer? Dahua Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a highly motivated Sourcing Cum Purchasing Executive to join our growing team in Seberang Perai, Penang.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our supply chain operations, acting as the primary bridge between our internal production requirements and our external supply network. Because we maintain a strong international presence, we require a candidate who is proficient in Mandarin to facilitate seamless communication and negotiation with our Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.
You will be responsible for end-to-end purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality components. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with potential suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials.
- Perform daily purchasing functions, including the issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and monitoring order status.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms to optimize procurement costs and improve company profitability.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse departments to align purchasing activities with inventory levels and production schedules.
- Handle procurement-related queries from internal stakeholders and provide timely updates on supply chain status.
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends and alternatives for cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement processes adhere to company quality management systems and local manufacturing regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is mandatory to communicate effectively with our client base.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with ERP systems.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
