Flex Precision Manufacturing is a leading provider in precision manufacturing solutions, committed to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a talented Sourcing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Skudai, Johor.
As a Sourcing Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing relationships with sheet metal and CNC suppliers. You will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials. You will evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate contracts, monitor market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production requirements.
We are looking for a driven professional with strong analytical skills and experience in supplier management within the manufacturing industry. Tanggung Jawab
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for sheet metal and CNC components.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost reduction targets.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material specifications are met.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and new supplier capabilities.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure supply chain resilience.
- Support new product introductions by sourcing components and managing sample approvals.
- Resolve supply issues and drive root cause analysis for any disruptions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement within manufacturing.
- Proven experience with sheet metal and CNC machining suppliers.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia preferred.
