As a Sourcing Engineer specializing in precision machining, you will play a critical role in our procurement and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic suppliers to meet our production requirements while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering, quality, and production teams to understand technical specifications and translate them into effective sourcing strategies. Your expertise will help optimize our supplier base, negotiate favorable terms, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support our operational goals.

Tanggung Jawab
- Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic suppliers for precision machining components and services
- Sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical specifications and sourcing requirements
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify new suppliers and industry trends
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier capabilities and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and supplier audit requirements
- Support new product development by identifying and qualifying capable suppliers
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement within precision machining or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of precision machining processes, including CNC machining, turning, milling, and grinding
- Proven track record in supplier development, qualification, and performance management
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
