Join Greatech's dynamic supply chain team as a Sourcing Executive and become a key driver in our manufacturing operations. Based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, you'll strategically source materials and components aligned with our Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements, ensuring optimal quality and cost-efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships. You'll actively monitor supplier performance metrics, maintain our Approved Supplier List (ASL), and negotiate competitive pricing structures to maximize cost savings. As a critical link in our cross-functional operations, you'll collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives. Your contributions will directly impact our operational excellence and bottom-line growth in the competitive manufacturing and logistics sector.
Tanggung Jawab
- Sourcing and procuring materials/components per Bill of Materials (BOM) specifications
- Managing RFQ processes from initiation to vendor selection
- Evaluating and monitoring supplier performance metrics
- Maintaining Approved Supplier List (ASL) and current pricing structures
- Driving cost reduction initiatives through strategic negotiations
- Coordinating cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Analyzing market trends to optimize sourcing strategies
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and industry standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years in procurement/sourcing within manufacturing
- Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience with RFQ processes and supplier evaluation
- Knowledge of BOM structures and component sourcing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective cross-functional communication skills
