Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make a global impact? BP is seeking a high-caliber Sourcing Lead to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. In this hybrid, late-shift role, you will be at the forefront of managing end-to-end sourcing strategies, complex contract negotiations, and strategic supplier relationships for large-scale energy and ICT projects.
As a Sourcing Lead, you will act as a key commercial partner, ensuring that our supply chain operations remain agile, compliant, and cost-effective. You will navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, drive value through innovative procurement methodologies, and ensure our projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for high-value ICT and project-based contracts.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and ongoing performance management.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to ensure reliability, cost-efficiency, and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to define procurement requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure full adherence to internal procurement policies, sustainability standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Provide expert guidance on commercial terms and risk mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management.
- Strong background in ICT category management or complex industrial project sourcing.
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex multi-million dollar contracts.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, late-shift arrangement to support global operations.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) are highly advantageous.
