- Execute high-quality meal preparation according to Marriott's culinary standards and recipe specifications
- Monitor and regulate cooking equipment temperatures (ovens, broilers, grills, roasters) for optimal results
- Manage food inventory systems, including controlled thawing of frozen items and rotation of perishables
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and HACCP guidelines
- Coordinate kitchen workflows during peak service periods to maintain operational efficiency
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and plating standards
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal specials and menu innovations
Kualifikasi
- 3+ years of professional culinary experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven expertise in various cooking methods including grilling, roasting, and baking
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines
- Culinary arts degree or certification from accredited institution preferred
