As a key member of our kitchen, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily operations, maintain the highest standards of food quality, and inspire our team to deliver exceptional Western dishes. Role Overview:

As Sous Chef, you will assist in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. You will ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our stringent quality standards, while also contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus, ensuring consistency and quality of all Western dishes.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain high standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and seasonal specials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of Western cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
  • Food safety certification is a plus.
