Are you a passionate culinary professional ready to make your mark in one of Bali's most vibrant culinary destinations? Ferro Ubud is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dedicated kitchen brigade. In this pivotal role, you will help drive our culinary vision, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.

Located in the cultural heart of Ubud, our establishment offers a unique blend of local charm and international flair. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to develop innovative menus that reflect the rich flavors of the region while maintaining our signature style. If you have a flair for creativity, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of kitchen operations, we want to hear from you.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in the daily operation and management of the kitchen brigade.
  • Develop and implement creative seasonal menus that align with the restaurant's brand and concept.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control are met at all times.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to minimize waste.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Oversee food preparation processes and plating standards during service.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Sous Chef role within a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Deep knowledge of Indonesian and international culinary techniques and ingredients.
  • Valid food handler’s certificate (HACCP certification is a plus).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
