As a Sous Chef, you will act as the right hand to our Head Chef, playing a pivotal role in orchestrating daily kitchen operations, maintaining impeccable food safety standards, and ensuring that every dish leaving the pass meets our high-quality benchmarks. You will be instrumental in mentoring our brigade, optimizing workflow, and contributing to the creative evolution of our menu. We are looking for an individual who thrives under pressure, demonstrates impeccable attention to detail, and possesses a deep-seated commitment to hospitality excellence in one of the world's top culinary destinations.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service coordination.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency, productivity, and professional growth.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
  • Monitor food inventory levels, manage waste reduction, and oversee ordering processes to control costs.
  • Ensure the highest standard of plate presentation and quality control for every service.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor equipment performance and perform routine checks to ensure all kitchen tools are in optimal condition.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or Sous Chef role.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and food safety regulations (HACCP certification is a plus).
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • A creative mindset with a genuine passion for modern culinary trends.
