We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly organized Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen operations and elevate our menu offerings. As our Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to manage kitchen staff, oversee food preparation, and ensure that every dish served meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative kitchen culture and ensuring the seamless operation of our service.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development, testing, and implementation of new seasonal dishes.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and preparation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs, and handle ordering from suppliers efficiently.
- Enforce strict health and safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations across the kitchen.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain smooth service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve kitchen workflows and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular training sessions to develop the skills of junior kitchen brigade members.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, with at least 1 year in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food science, and modern plating trends.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Proven ability to manage food costs, inventory, and kitchen administrative tasks.
- Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required by the business.
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Indonesian.
