You will be responsible for assisting in the overall management of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory control, and staff supervision. Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and ensuring all culinary standards are met.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and apprentices, to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output.
  • Manage food inventory and ordering processes to minimize waste and control costs effectively.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
  • Train junior staff on proper cooking techniques, plating, and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Oversee the preparation of daily specials and ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on dishes to maintain the restaurant's reputation.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Deep knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent.
