Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including commis chefs and kitchen porters, to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.
  • Develop and update menus in collaboration with the management team, ensuring variety and adherence to dietary requirements.
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, health and safety regulations, and kitchen sanitation policies.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering ingredients and supplies, and conducting regular stocktakes.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes to ensure consistency and timely service during peak hours.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role within a reputable hotel or restaurant group.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse culinary team.
  • Culinary diploma or certificate from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and cost control procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
