Hancook Restaurant is seeking a creative and high-energy Sous Chef to join our expanding kitchen team. As a key leader in our culinary operations, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation that our guests expect.

We are looking for a hands-on chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep passion for Korean-fusion cuisine. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, mentor our junior kitchen staff, and contribute to innovative menu development. Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and service.
  • Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing training on cooking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Maintain consistent quality and presentation for every dish leaving the pass.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and minimizing food waste.
  • Ensure the highest level of food hygiene and sanitation protocols are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menu specials and creative culinary concepts.
  • Monitor food costs and kitchen labor efficiency to ensure operational profitability.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management, including inventory, food cost control, and staff supervision.
  • Deep understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards (HACCP proficiency is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for flavor profile development and presentation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy service hours.
  • Possess relevant culinary certifications or education.
