Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and plating of high-quality Japanese Yakitori dishes.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP/NEA guidelines).
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff to maintain kitchen efficiency and morale.
  • Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and minimize food wastage through proper storage and ordering procedures.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menu offerings and improve existing recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace throughout the shift.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operating according to safety protocols.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie, preferably in a Japanese cuisine or Yakitori concept.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients.
  • Possess a valid Food Hygiene Certification.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead by example in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Flexible and adaptable to shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
