- Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and workflow optimization
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain service standards
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal Japanese cuisine innovations
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion consistency
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures
- Enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Coordinate with front-of-house for seamless service execution
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3 years experience in Japanese cuisine preparation
- Proven Sous Chef or senior chef role background
- Deep knowledge of Japanese ingredients, techniques, and cultural nuances
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Culinary degree/diploma from accredited institution
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems
