Tanggung Jawab
- Design and deliver high-quality, student-centred lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs and IEP goals.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching methodologies to facilitate cognitive, social, and functional skill development.
- Collaborate effectively with therapists, social workers, and school staff to provide a holistic support system for students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and caregivers regarding student achievements and areas for growth.
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.
- Participate actively in school-wide professional development programs and contribute to curriculum improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Special Education or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Early Childhood Education with a focus on special needs).
- Relevant certification or registration with recognized professional teaching bodies in Singapore is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and modern special education pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
- High level of patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
- Proficiency in computer-based tools for administrative reporting and curriculum creation.
