Make a transformative impact as a Special Needs Education Teacher I in Cordillera Administrative Region. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and curriculum standards
- Adapt general education curriculum using multisensory teaching techniques and assistive technologies
- Conduct ongoing student assessments to track progress and modify instructional strategies
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff for integrated interventions
- Facilitate peer inclusion activities and social-emotional learning programs
- Train parents/caregivers in home-based educational support strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field with PRC license
- At least 1 year of experience teaching students with diverse learning disabilities
- Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or similar evidence-based methodologies
- Certification in assistive technology tools (e.g., text-to-speech, AAC devices)
- Strong knowledge of Philippine SPED policies and inclusive education frameworks
- Excellent communication skills in English and local dialects
- Cultural sensitivity in working with indigenous Cordillera communities
