Sunway Medical Centre, a premier healthcare provider in Malaysia, is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Special Project Executive (Facilities) to join our expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the physical environment that supports world-class patient care. You will lead, coordinate, and manage a diverse portfolio of special projects, ranging from interior fit-outs and infrastructure upgrades to major structural renovations and new site development works across our campus in Kota Damansara.
As the Special Project Executive, you will be instrumental in transforming strategic visions into tangible results. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the seamless execution of facility projects while adhering to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance unique to the healthcare industry. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, administrators, external consultants, and contractors to deliver projects that enhance operational efficiency and patient experience.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage facility-related special projects, including renovations, expansions, and site improvement works from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals and healthcare standards.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations (e.g., UBBL, OSHA).
- Conduct regular site inspections to oversee construction quality, safety protocols, and adherence to specifications.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials, equipment, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with internal departments to minimize operational disruptions during renovation and maintenance works, ensuring continuous patient care.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations to senior management.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions for improving energy efficiency, sustainability, and overall facility performance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in project management within construction, facilities, or property development.
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and local regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines and budget constraints.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or AutoCAD) and the MS Office Suite.
- A highly organized, proactive, and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
