We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist - Accounting to join Schaeffler Group on a 1-year contract basis. In this role, you will be a key player in maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring full compliance with corporate tax regulations, and supporting our dynamic finance operations in Malaysia.

You will work closely with the accounting team to manage general accounting processes, assist in complex month-end close activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily general accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing schedules and reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with Malaysian corporate tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain fixed asset registers and support period-end asset reviews.
- Collaborate with internal auditors and external tax consultants to provide requested documentation.
- Support the finance team in generating accurate management accounts and variance analysis.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in general accounting and corporate tax compliance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically SAP, is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, financial reporting standards (MAS), and IFRS.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
